Day Three of the Vision 20/20 Conference

Session 1:

Day three had three sessions with prayers after each session.

The first session was about family crisis and the seed of Dominion. The speaker highlighted that have families to be prepared to overcome.

He talked of a prophecy that was given in 2003 that predicted 12 different crises, including a family crisis that would occur between 2025 and 2027. He said families were to strengthen themselves in this decade to overcome any crisis that may come their way.

Pastor Steve talked about the concept of the “seed of dominion” and how it was marred by sin. He also emphasised how disobedience led to the separation from God and one another. He emphasized the concept of being seeds of dominion like Abraham’s family, meant to produce godly offspring that will take dominion. He explained the difference between a seed (containing the full character/ nature) and an offspring (product of the seed). The goal should be to raise up seeds of dominion with the character of Christ.

He noted that the society is staggering because key people of leadership, wisdom, courage are missing in action yet with their presence, we would see discipling of families. This is because most of them are first generation believers still struggling with family brokenness like polygamy, bitterness, rejection, abuse etc.

He re-echoed Abraham’s faith that was transmitted through generations. He highlighted how this pattern was transmitted through generations, and how it can be applied to modern families to heal rifts and restore relationships. He also emphasized the need to break way form idolatry and focus on building a relationship with God. He concluded with the mandate of Leadership, prophetic voice, fatherhood, releasing people into prosperity and taking care of the vulnerable.

This session ended with an extended word of prayer, confessing these dysfunctions and asking for God’s mercy to be cleansed and healed. Members chose to forgive those who wronged them by writing down names and the issues to deal with the rifts and enable reconciliation.

Session 2:

Topic: Understanding Sonship and godly Heritage

He discussed how God’s relationship with Abraham and hid descendants is a pattern for all families, and how this relationship is essential for fulfilling God’s purposes. He also emphasized the significance of passing on this godly heritage to the next generation, emphasizing that blessings and inheritance belong to all and not a few. Abraham being the father of all nations, He is used as an example noting that the blessings are not just for the circumcised but for all who believe. He pointed out to the audience to see themselves as heirs to pass on this blessing and inheritance to the next generation.

Marty explored Mathew 18, transitioning to the macro particulars.

He also emphasized the the importance of transmission and modelling of godly values from one generation to the next. He encouraged strong attachment and group identity in passing on these values. He used the Abrahamic family ( Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to illustrate how the blessings were passed down through generation.  The speaker also noted the challenges of maintain a strong sense of attachment and identity particularly in the context of the Jewish relationships with other nations. He encouraged fathers to bless their children, following the pattern seen in Genesis 48, as a way to strengthen the family and pass on family values.

Session 3:

Marty was joined by Dean and Chaim and who also emphasized the blessing tradition and unity tradition. Dean shared his experience of being taken by Kenyan intercessors to meet with their brethren in Uganda, which changed his life. Chaim shared his experience of being on duty for 468 days defending Israel. He also shared his son’s commitment to Jesus at the age of 4. Dean emphasized the importance of understanding and using the correct pronouns to reflect the unity of the family.  Chaim emphasized the importance of learning about family and the love that exists among believers, regardless of their background.

Chaim and Dean discussed the biblical significance of the Gaza region and its connection to the Abrahamic family. They highlighted the importance of understanding the family plan and the will of Jesus, emphasizing the role of intercessors and watchmen on the walls of Israel. They also discussed the need for healing the rifts between Israel and the nations, and the potential for a great revival in this time. Chaim emphasized the importance of releasing captives from captivity, both physically and mentally, and the need for a change of heart. Dean ended the conversation by encouraging everyone to pray for the boundaries of Israel to be restored as promised in the Abrahamic family’s covenants.

The session ended with prayer for Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. They blessed Israel, asked God to give Israel wisdom and protection from shame and their enemies. They prayed for mercy on Israel despite their imperfections. They prayed for Israel’s Arab neighbors to find their redemptive purpose rather than hatred towards Israel. They declared the prophetic word from Isaiah 19 about Egypt, Assyria and Israel being a blessing. They prayed for the alignment and reconciliation between Africa and Israel according to this prophecy. The meeting involved passionate prayers for Israel’s protection, deliverance from their troubles, and the healing of rifts between Israel and the nations. There were declarations of blessing over Israel and their neighbors entering their redemptive roles.
